Meet Our Expert Dentist

Dr. Raman earned her Doctorate in Dental Medicine from Boston University School of Dental Medicine where she graduated summa cum laude in 2006. Before receiving her D.M.D., she graduated in India in 2000 with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery.

She holds a Fellowship with the Academy of General Dentistry and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine. She is also a member of the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine.

She feels blessed to have found her calling as a dentist and is grateful to have the opportunity to practice preventive care in the healthcare industry where she can make a positive impact on her patients’ dental and whole-body wellness. As of today, the pinnacle of her career is the moment her teachers at the Spear Institute opened her eyes to the function of airway health being at the center of a patient’s dental health. This shift changed dentistry for her, and she feels energized in spreading the word about these often-overlooked conditions.

When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband and son, practicing Indian classical music, cooking, and experimenting with healthy recipes for her family and friends. She also enjoys playing a traditional string instrument called the Veena.
